  1. Mr Ed’s Farm was the perfect place for our get together of out riding club. The sleigh ride with the big drafts takes you through a beautiful woods. The lodge was warm and had every thing necessary for having a potluck meal. We can’t wait for another party there. Getting to see the animals that are so well taken care of in there decorated barns was fun for the farmer want to be in all of us!

  2. Excellent!! Excellent way to spend the afternoon. This was my 3rd time out to the farm. I certainly enjoy myself as much as any of the children. The time and attention the Nelson family give their visitors is wonderful wither you are in a large group or a single family. Hats off to this couple. thanks

  3. Hi: I do mental health skills at the Lincoln School (Adapt) in Hibbing through Range Mental Health Ctr. We also have Adapt workers at the Washington and Lincoln Schools. We do a summer program and this year we were wondering if we could come out to your farm for one of our field trips. We meet on Tuesdays with 20-24 kids and then again a different group on Wed. and Thurs with 24 to 27 kids. Both meet in the mornings from 9 to noon. Tuesdays group is K through 1st Grade – Wed-Thurs group is 2nd to 4th G

Funding is scarce for our program and I’m not sure what the charge is for coming out as a group – I had heard from someone $5.00 a person – (well that is pretty much our whole budget for the summer – $5 a student – so that wouldn’t work for us to come. Hopefully you have a more reasonable group rate for us?

We would love to come out to your farm – Program starts on June 10 and runs through Aug. 16th. Could you email or call me back at 969-5280 – thanks so much – have a great Memorial Weekend 🙂
